Back Rail and Jack Rail Cloth
 
These wool cloths are approximately 1/4" (6 mm) thick, multi-layered and woven from felted wool yarn. They have a firm body which prevents it from compressing in time. Its damping qualities equal that of 4 to 5 layers of ordinary wool cloth. They can be used on the back rail of keyboards, on jack rails, and as interface between keyboard and case for the keyboard to rest on. Available as bulk sheets, fraction of sheets and strips. The distinction between Jack Rail Cloth and Back Rail cloth is arbitrary. They can be used for either.
Strips can be ordered in any with, priced by the inch, with a minimum charge of 2" (e.g. the price of a 1.5" wide strip is that of 2" wide).

A medium green cloth imported from England; not available in full sheets.
 
#1710*-17104* Dark Green Back Rail Cloth
A very dark green cloth made in the US, just a little firmer than the medium green cloth.
 
#1715*-1719* Scarlet Jack Rail Cloth
A scarlet cloth made in the US. The yarn of this cloth is fluffed on one side. You can reduce the fluff with a pair of scissors to meet your requirements, or glue it down so the non-fluffed surface is exposed.
