Balance Rail Punchings
White Balance Rail Punchings - white wool cloth, 0.060" (1.5 mm) thick and 1/2" (12 mm) in diameter with a 5/32" (4 mm) hole in the center. These punchings fit tightly on pins of .125” to .140” diameter, but are used by some makers on smaller pins.

Scarlet Balance Rail Punchings - scarlet wool cloth, 1/2" (12 mm) in diameter with a 3/32" (2,5 mm) hole in the center to fit tightly on pins of .090” to .100” diameter. Available in medium 0.080" (2 mm) and thin 0.040" (1 mm) thickness.
