Discounts for Professional Accounts

Discounts on larger orders are listed below. They apply to the list price if the total of all list prices reaches the stated level. Discounts do not apply to special prices, to plans, literature and books, and to items marked as net. For a specially priced item, the smaller of the special price or the discounted list price applies.

Air and Express Service

Orders of stock items are shipped the next working day by surface mail (or UPS ground in the US if the package is over $50). The handling and shipping charge covers surface shipping to any part of the world. We can ship by air for higher charges as outlined in the above table. We shall be glad to quote shipping charges for even faster service or for packages over 4 lb. Air overseas or UPS 2DAY in the US runs approximately $50.00 (overseas) and $15 (USA) for the first pound, and $9.00 (overseas) or $2.50 (USA) for each additional pound in addition to the basic shipping/handling charge. Air shipping to Canada is $25.00 plus $1.00 per lb over 10 lb.

Air shipping charges for books, literature, and plans are listed with the listing of the items. The handling charges above are in addition.

Global Priority

To Canada, Mexico, Japan , Western Europe, and some other countries smaller orders (that fit into a small 5.5”x8.5” envelope supplied by the post office) can be shipped by Global Priority for the AIRMAIL price. Examples are plectra, a few small coils and up to 6 large coils of wire, or an old style tuning key, etc..

If you are a professional piano or early keyboard technician or maker of musical instruments or store, you may apply for professional discounts if you have purchased for more than $300 in the past 12 months or if your first order is for more than $500 list price. These discounts and the applicable shipping and handling charges are listed below.

Shipping and Handling Charges for Professional Accounts

There is a basic handling/shipping charge on every order of merchandise, which depends on the amount of the order; it pays for shipping and insurance by surface mail or regular UPS. Faster service is available at a higher  fee. Literature and books are sent separately and incur a $2.50 to $5.00 handling charge (irrespective of total or number of items). The same applies to plans.
