Wrest Pins 4.2mm
Wrest Pins .163" - Regular thickness mildly tapered old style tuning pins as used in harpsichords and very early fortepianos. The diameter is 0.163" (4,2 mm) and the length 2" (50 mm), available in blued and bright steel, without or with hole. The flat part is 15/16" (24 mm) long, the taper is 3/4" (18 mm) long to a diameter of .150" ± .003", slightly chamfered tip. See special variants below. Use tuning keys #8014, 80140, 8015.

We have accumulated some variants of our old style tuning pins #1344/5 and #1346/5, which we offer at reduced prices as follows (quantities limited):
S1 - These pins have a heavier taper down to .137" and a tiny (.006") step at the start of the flat part.
S2 - These pins have a taper to .150" and a top with a small burr, which can be ground off..
