Rossi Rose

Parchment and wood rose from an Italian harpsichord by Ferandi Rossi of 1597. The top layer is wood with 2 parchment layers below the wood. The rose is let into the soundboard halfway from below. The patterns on the soundboard are scribed and punched using a semicircular punch and awl. The soundboard hole is 80 mm with rounded edges. The patterns are printed on Mylar with adhesive backing.
