Delrin® and Celcon® plectra
material is supplied in the following forms
Sheets - as they
come from the mill. Sheets are 6"x24" (15cm x 60cm) with the direction
of grain running along the long side. Exception is extra thick black
Delrin®, which is 4”x36” (10cm x 80 cm). Available only in the sizes
listed. These are mill stock, not further treated.
Pieces - These
1.5"x6" (37 x 152 mm) pieces are accurately sized in thickness and tempered
in the process. Sold in packages of 3. Exception are Extra Thick and
Very Thick Black Delrin®, which are 5 pieces of 1.5”x4” (37 x 101
mm). The grain runs along the width of these pieces.
Strips
- are ½" (12 mm) wide and 5' (1,5 m) long with the grain along
the length of the strips, partially annealed in the process of sizing.
