Tuning Pin Setter
(also called a driver or punch) has a hole in one end that fits over a tuning pin. It is used to drive tuning pins into the wrest plank and prevents damage to the pins as well as to the case. Wrest Pin Setters have a flat bottomed hole. Zither Pin and Piano Pin Setters have a domed hole; the piano pin setter is for 6mm and larger pins. All are 3" long. All are made of slim drill rod, exept the #80791 Piano Tuning Pin Punch which is made from hardened hexagon steel, which will not work on tightly spaced tuning pins.
