Scrapers

These hardened scrapers are 20mm wide and approximately 65mm long. They hold their edge a lot longer than ordinary cabinet scrapers, but you need diamond files to shape and sharpen them. Use the blank scraper for smoothing small or hard to get to areas or for making your own profile scraper. Our profile scrapers have each 2 shapes (one in each of the opposing narrow ends: round/oval and flared) useful in shaping hammer shanks. The flared shape in one end is useful for shaping the main part of the shank, the round in the opposing end for finishing the tip that goes into the hammer head.
