(#8062) Diagonal Cutter and (#8063) 4” Wire Nippers are recommended for those who would use them only occasionally. They wear out rapidly when used on hard music wire. Color of handle may vary.

80621  Diagonal Micro Flush Cutter 5"
These cutters, designed for electronics, come in handy when you need to nip off wire sticking out of the hole of a tuning pin. They tend to wear out more rapidly than the 6" diagonal cutter when used on hard music wire, but are good on brass alloy and iron wire.

80625 Semi Professional 6” Diagonal Cutter
Use these for heavier iron, copper alloy, and piano type wire from .020” up to .060” in diameter. Extremely hard cutting edges. We hand selected these from a larger batch for perfectly matching jaws. Color of handle may vary.

Comments:
We had been using the same 4" Professional Diagonal Cutter (#8061) in our shop for 6 years for cutting the wire for every string, every coil and every spool of wire we sell. When the wire cutter finally developped difficulty cutting the thinner wire under .010” at places of the cutting edges other than the tip, we switched to #80625, which lasted about 8 years before we had to switch to a new one. 
For all wire cutters, we recommend that you cut thicker wire near the throat and thinner wire near the tip of the cutting surface to prolong the life of the pliers.
