Piano String Looping Tool

8162 Piano String Looping Tool makes a loop at the end of a string by creating a double helix (twisted wire) of a length that can be set with a lock collar on the crank which determines the distance of the hook to the clamp. By loosening the clamp somewhat, a wrapping can be produced at the base of the helix. The tool is made of metal and can handle heavy piano strings. It does not work well with softer wire and wire of small diameter. Recommended for music and piano wire of diameter .020” and up only.
