Voss Iron Wire is a low carbon un-coated wire of low tensile strength, used in historic Keyboard instruments.

Diameters: .008” (0.20mm), .009” (0.23mm), .010” (0.25mm), .011” (0.28mm), .012” (0.30mm), .013” (0.33mm), .014” (0.35mm), .016” (0.40mm), .018” (0.45mm)
 
Tensile Strength: depending on diameter, minimal specifications (actual numbers may be up to 30,000 PSI higher):  180,000 PSI (12650 kg/sq cm) (.009" - .016"),
 
Maximum recommended scaling is 14” (36cm) for c” at a pitch of A415, and up to 13.5” (34cm) at A440
