Rose Iron Wire Type A for Harpsichords - Bright low carbon iron wire of low tensile strength. This Low carbon wire has long been the preferred wire by many of the independent builders in the US, even though some of these builders are beginning to switch to the Voss iron wire. Rose wire is produced by Malcolm Rose in England. Small coils have 10m (33') and large coils 30m (100'); mini spools have 50m (165'), small spools have 150m (500'), and medium spools 300m (1000').
